The LIGHTCHECK & SAFETY PLUG has been designed to make checking the lights on your trailer or 5th wheel a snap. It turns the job into a one person job. You will no longer have to plug your unit into the tow vehicle to see if the lights are working. No more hand signals. No more walking from the front of the vehicle to the back of the unit! Just plug the 7 pin electrical plug from the unit into the LIGHTCHECK and the lights on your unit will come on, allowing you to do a walk around and see what’s working and what’s not. The turn signals, brake lights and the amber warning light on LIGHTCHECK will blink. The clearance lights will remain lit. There
must be a charged battery on the unit for the LIGHTCHECK to perform this check. THE LIGHTCHECK WILL ALSO WORK WITH L.E.D. LIGHTS!
The SAFETY PLUG aspect allows you to leave your rig safely on the side of the road if necessary due to a breakdown and not be concerned about it being a road hazard. Simply plug the 7 pin electrical plug into the LIGHTCHECK and the clearance lights will illuminate and the signal lights and brake lights will blink from anywhere from 10-24 hours depending on the condition and number of batteries on board. A customer came up with an unexpected use. Her husband has a health condition and when they called 911, the paramedics couldn’t find their rig in the park at night. She wanted this as an emergency flasher so they could be found easily if it happens again.
