aFe Releases The New Pro Guard D2 Diesel Duty Oil Filter for the 01-08 GM 6.6L Duramax

…advanced Flow engineering (aFe), an industry leader in performance cold air intakes, filters and exhaust systems is pleased to announce the release of their new Pro Guard D2 Diesel Duty Oil Filter for the popular 01-08 GM 6.6L Duramax Part Number 44-LF001.

44-LF001 is designed to produce maximum efficiency with minimal flow loss.  The Pro Guard D2 Diesel Duty oil filters use a heavy-duty 600lb canister and include a heavy-duty coil spring, wire backed media providing strength and an anti-backflow valve to reduce damage during cold starts.  The aFe NF21 progressive synthetic media includes a thick outer layer to trap large particles, a thin inner layer to trap smaller particles that may have passed through the first layer and an inner screen that provides support and structural integrity to a 4-micron level.  44-LF001 includes a 1” outside, 3/8” inside nut/ratchet drive for easy removal.
