The world’s toughest off road racers and there teams have descended upon the gorgeous Baja Peninsula prerunning for next week’s 41st SCORE Baja 1000.

As the 2008 KMC Wheels TROPHYLITE Series Presented by KC HiLiTES rolls on, off-road enthusiasts will have a unique opportunity to gain a more in depth understanding of the TROPHYLITE experience during the 9th Annual Off-Road Expo held at the Pomona Fairplex October 3-5.

TROPHYLITE will be featured in Booth #4525 as well as have an additional TROPHYLITE truck displayed on the outdoor portion of the venue. Visitors to the TROPHYLITE booth will have the opportunity to compete for prizes while driving the TROPHYLITE sponsored off-road truck in the new video game Baja: The Edge of Control.

In addition, visitors will be able to enter a raffle for the following:

* Two $1,000 gift certificates to be put towards the purchase of a new TROPHYLITE.  Gift certificates are non-transferrable and deposit on truck purchase must be received no later than October 20, 2008.

The drawing for each certificate will be held at the TROPHYLITE booth at 2:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Winner need not be present.

TROPHYLITE will also be making another special offer by letting any new customer purchases of a TROPHYLITE truck at the Off Road Expo a special $1,000 credit for options and upgrades on a new TROPHYLITE truck purchase.  Deposit on truck purchase must be received no later than October 20, 2008.

M.O.R.E (Mohave Off-Road Enthusiast) and ROYAL PURPLE Synthetic Oils are proud to announce the 3rd annual Powder Puff race for the cure. Proceeds and donations acquired from this event will benefit Cedar Sinai Womens Breast Cancer Research Center.
This years grand prise Raffle was Donated by the YAMAHA corporation. A RHINO 700 FYI 4×4. This year’s event will take place in sunny Barstow California October 10th – 11th 2008. There will be a BBQ after the race Hamburgers, Hot dog, Chili, and who knows along with dancing under the stars in the dirt everyone’s welcome. Yes this is an all Ladies driving and co-driving event , all the hobby’s will be giving there all too pit support. All the pit support clubs Acme, Checkers, Fair. There are just too many to list will be donating pit support for ANY lady that needs help. Ladies may also pull into any pit at any time for help.

This event is not a trip to the grocery store it is a Full out RACE. Come out and meet the Ladies that drive these machines they are the greatest some are new to driving and there are those that race all the time and they are great. The Off Road Community has come together to support the fight against Breast cancer, we are growing ever year and plain on doing so until we find the cure. Please come out and support this Great Cause.

All drivers and co-drivers will be required to attend tech safety inspection, where ARTS will inspect all vehicles, fire-suits, and helmets for safety compliance. Actual race will begin on Saturday October 11th 2008. All vehicles will run a 20 mile loop maybe more??? and compete with vehicles split in 2 heats. Please come to Contingency on Friday to meet all the drivers and Contingency Sponsors for if it were not for them there would be no off road racing as we have come too know and love the sport.

A new race class for SideXSide UTV’S. All UTV’S must pass tech inspection with all the other classes. M.O.R.E will be using the BITD UTV regulations. For those of you who are not familiar with UTV racing please visit www.utvracingassociation.com for a quick brush up on safety regulations.

W.E.ROCK and Side X Side Super Jam will have combined Demo shows 2x on Friday, 4x on Saturday and 3x on Sunday. We have 2 70×100 demo areas next to each other (30′ fire lane in between them), one area will be for the drifting, configuration will be a figure 8 with 1 SXS on the track at a time. The other demo area will be the rock crawling course, SXS’s will share the area with full size 4×4’s obstacles will include large man-made boulders, natural boulders, man-made rock slabs made of shotcrete, and of course dirt.

Professional SXS teams in attendance will include the CORR points leaders from FUNCO and the BITD points leaders from JaggedX, as well as experienced rock crawlers like Tracy Jordan, Nick Campbell, and Frank Johnson all driving SXS’s.

Celebrity drivers will in Ian Johnson from SPIKE TV’s Extreme 4×4’s, testing his skills at SXS rock crawling. Look for more professional teams and industry celebrities to join in the fun by the time Off Road Expo open’s Oct. 3rd (5pm) at the Pomona County Fairgrounds FairPlex.
